Ball type concentration tank


This equipment mainly consists of a concentration tank, a vapor-liquid separator, a condenser, a recovery tank, and a stirring and transmission device. It can be used in pharmaceutical, food, and chemical industries for the concentration, distillation, and recovery of organic solvents from liquid materials. Due to the use of vacuum concentration, the concentration time is short, and it will not damage the effective components of heat-sensitive materials.

Equipment Applications

This equipment mainly consists of a concentration tank, a vapor-liquid separator, a condenser, a recovery tank, and a stirring and transmission device. It can be used in pharmaceutical, food, and chemical industries for the concentration, distillation, and recovery of organic solvents from liquid materials. Due to the use of vacuum concentration, the concentration time is short, and it will not damage the effective components of heat-sensitive materials.

All parts of this equipment that come into contact with materials are made of stainless steel, possessing excellent corrosion resistance, durability, and compliance with GMP requirements.

 

Working Principle

Saturated steam enters the jacket of the concentration tank, heating the liquid material to boiling. Water or other organic substances in the material vaporize, thus achieving vapor-liquid separation. The steam evaporated in the evaporation chamber is defoamed by a demister and then cooled into liquid by a condenser and cooler before entering the recovery tank. Finally, non-condensable gases are carried away by a vacuum pump.

 

Equipment Features

1. The PTFE scraper agitator ensures timely renewal of the heat transfer area in the concentration tank, preventing material from adhering to the heat transfer surface for extended periods. This maintains a high heat transfer coefficient and high evaporation intensity.

2. The PTFE scraper agitator continuously stirs and agitates the material within the tank, ensuring uniform heating and preventing localized prolonged heating that could lead to scorching or carbonization, thus guaranteeing drug quality.

3. The machine has a rational structure with ample evaporation and separation space, reducing vapor-liquid entrainment, resulting in high product yield. Furthermore, the entire evaporation process is completed at low temperatures, producing a high-quality extract with good color.

4. The final extract concentration and specific gravity can reach approximately 1.4.
