▎Working Principle
Scraped film evaporators mainly consist of a heating jacket, internal rotatable scrapers, a condenser, and a vacuum system. In a high-vacuum environment, the feed liquid is added tangentially from the top of the evaporator. Under the influence of gravity and the rotating scrapers, it forms a downward-swirling thin film along the inner wall of the shell. The finished liquid is discharged from the bottom, while the secondary steam is discharged from the top.
